A dried-flower wreath brings the garden indoors long after the season ends, and it’s easier to make than it looks.
You’ll need: a 12-inch grapevine wreath base, floral wire or a hot glue gun, scissors, and an assortment of dried flowers and greenery, such as lavender, eucalyptus, strawflowers, wheat, and statice.
How to make it:
Trim your stems to about 4–6 inches.
Gather small bundles of three or four stems, mixing textures and colors.
Lay the first bundle against the base and wrap the stems with floral wire.
Place the next bundle so its blooms cover the stems of the last, working in one direction around the wreath.
Fill any gaps with single blooms using a dab of hot glue.
Hang it out of direct sunlight to keep the colors rich, and it will last for many months.
